Teresa (“Teri”) Ong Lee, CPA is a 2nd generation Chinese born in Phoenix, Arizona.  Her parents Fred and Kay Ong owned a country neighborhood grocery store where she and her 4 sisters learned the art of rolling coins from selling penny candy!  She learned database management in helping her father with his newsletters to the Chinese community by addressing them first manually and then with a typewriter. 

Teri graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.  Teri worked for Price Waterhouse upon moving to Houston in 1970 and was a Manager in the Tax Department.  She was the Manager of Tax Litigation for Raymond International, Inc. in Houston where she was the first employee to be granted a flexible work week when their children Alicia and Jeffrey were born.  She has a tax practice and is the Office Manager for her husband Dr. Jeffrey Y. Lee’s solo medical practice.

Teri is a member of the Board of Trustees of The Kinkaid School, the Asia Society Texas Advisory Board and Building Committee, and the Houston Golf Association.  She has chaired various committees for the Shell Houston Open, The PGA Tour Championship, The Nationwide Tour Championship, and the LPGA Tour Championship. She was co-chairman of the 2005 U S Women's Mid-Amateur Golf Championship.

Teri's community services include CanCare, The Chinquapin School in Highlands, Texas, Houston Junior Forum and Chapelwood United Methodist Church.  She is a member of various professional organizations including The Houston Chapter of the Texas Society of CPAs, and The Forensic Accounting Society.
