 Donna Fujimoto Cole founded Cole Chemical over 30 years ago at the age of 27, divorced with a four-year old daughter with $5,000 from savings. 2008, the company's sales are in excess of $70 million providing product and service chain management of chemicals, fuel, synthetic lubricants and resins to a wide range of customers and industries. Top customers include: ConocoPhillips, Chrysler Corporations, Excelon, Lockheed Martin, Procter & Gamble, International Paper and Toyota. Cole was the first chemical distributor to obtain ISO quality certification in 1992. Cole Chemical is ranked #47 in the top 100 chemical distributors in the United States by CPI Purchasing Magazine. The company is an expert in chemical management with an integrated back office support system.  Ms. Cole has owned and operated two trading companies, a distributorship, drilling chemical company, warehouse/blending facility, a manufacturing company and an engine coolant manufacturing company in 30 years. She has been one of the Houston's top 10 woman-owned businesses for many years. A Houston Woman on the Move in 1986. Cole Chemical has received numerous quality awards from fortune 500 customers for the last 25 years and the Small Business Administration. Ms. Cole was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2009 by Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Junior Achievement as a Laureate. 2010 recognized as a Breakfast of Champions by the Harris County Education Department. 2010 one of the Most Influential Women in Houston by Houston Woman Magazine. She is known nationally as a savvy businessperson and very active globally, nationally and locally in building strong communities.
